Principal's Welcome
Principal's Welcome
The Logan Village State School community extends to you a warm welcome to our campus. Education is a partnership between home and school.
There are four aspects of this partnership we value at Logan Village State School.
These are –
(a) the worth of all members of our school community, that is, students, staff, parents and caregivers;
(b) the quality of teaching and learning with an emphasis on learning outcomes;
(c) a sense of professionalism and integrity, and
(d) open communication.
When there is a strong commitment to this partnership by both home and school, then children's learning prospers. There are different levels at which parents can be involved in their children's education. These opportunities will come as invitations in the newsletter or from your child’s class teacher.
Starting a new school is, as you know, an important step in your child's life. Every child is different with special needs, special interests and special characteristics. Your child is important to you and to us and we will work together to help him/her grow, learn and develop both as an individual and as a caring member of our school community.
I encourage you to be involved in your school and to look for ways of continually improving your child's learning opportunities through your involvement. We strongly encourage your participation in the decision making process that exists through various bodies in our school community.
May the time you are involved in our school be a rewarding one for both you and your children.
